Benjamin Beckelynck
Engineering Simulation Specialist
Benjamin landed in Quebec City in 2012 after completing an engineering degree in aeronautics from IPSA in France. He went on to pursue a Master's degree in mechanical engineering at Université Laval, and competed in 2015. After moving to Montreal, he joined Optimec Consultants as an FEA analyst in 2016.
Benjamin has since been involved in a wide variety of projects across industries, driving advanced multi-physics simulations. He is now responsible for developing analysis workflows, ensuring high fidelity and detailed comprehension, for structural integrity study, design optimization, and virtual testing.
Hamza Benzakour
Engineering Simulation Specialist
After graduating with a master’s degree in applied mathematics and mechanical engineering from the ENSEIRB of Bordeaux, France, Hamza’s passion for the automotive sector led him to work as a vibration engineer for an international tire manufacturer in France. He then occupied a role of FEA consulting engineer as a crash test specialist for an international car manufacturer for three and half years.
Following his Canadian dream, he found himself in Montréal and his years of experience along with his solid technical knowledge granted him the title of finite element analyst in 2020 for Optimec.
